Public Transportation: Wilshire / Normandie Purple Line Station

A short walk one block from our hotel will take you to the Wilshire / Normandie purple line station for a wallet-friendly transportation option to much of Los Angeles. A day pass for the metro runs $5.00 and lasts until 3:00 a.m. the next calendar day from the date you purchase your ticket.

From Downtown Los Angeles

• Take Fifth Street westbound. (Fifth Street is a one-way westbound street; stay to the left.)
• Once you cross over the Harbor Freeway (110) you will be on Sixth Street headed westbound.
• Continue 2.7 miles west to Normandie Avenue, (Normandie is seven blocks west of Vermont Avenue)
• Turn left on Normandie Avenue, and the Hotel Normandie is the first building on the right, at the southwest corner of Sixth and Normandie.
• Valet parking (only) at curbside.

From inside LAX

• Take the Century Blvd Eastbound exit from LAX.
• Go 1.7 miles, stay to left, turn left on La Cienega Blvd northbound
• Go 6.3 miles northbound, turn right on Washington Blvd (one block past Adams Blvd)
• Immediately turn right on to Santa Monica Freeway (eastbound I-10)
• Go 2.0 miles eastbound, exit at Crenshaw Blvd, and turn left on Crenshaw.
• Go 2.0 miles northbound on Crenshaw, turn right on Wilshire Blvd.
• Go 1.0 mile eastbound on Wilshire to Ardmore Ave (six blocks past Western Ave), and turn left on Ardmore.
• Go one block, turn right on Sixth Street
• Go one block, turn right on Normandie Ave and stop at curbside.
• You have arrived at the Hotel Normandie, valet parking only.
